That's a 'joke' only to delusional Trumpnistas. I stand behind what I said about the rationales for direct election of the president.
You've countered with nothing but 'that's the way it's always been' and 'us poor little country mice need protection form those big bad city cats'.
Face it. The Blue States, including the temporarily Red ones, still produce most of the GDP and could be completely self-sufficient in agriculture, trade, technology, higher education, entertainment....the list is endless,
The Constitution was created, very deliberatively, with the path of Amendments to help to insure a 'more perfect union' though well deliberated and debated change to meet changing circumstances.
Why are conservatives so afraid of debating the matter?
