And then the company came out with their infamous disclaimer. What are we, as investors, supposed to make of that disclaimer? They didn't say something clear, like, "The numbers in that Executive Summary are no longer accurate because we have been able to improve the technology making those numbers too conservative for investors to rely on when evaluating the company's future value." Or "The numbers in that Executive Summary are no longer accurate because the assumptions that we provided SAIC for their conclusions were invalid and provided a much too optimistic view of the company's future value."
No, they just told us to not rely on the numbers. Things might be better or they might be worse than what was concluded. But we're not going to tell you.
Another fine example of corporate transparency.
I wish I didn't have to have this attitude, but it is this type of business conduct that has soured me. They might have good reasons for being ambiguous, but I fail to see them from an investor's perspective.
