You're welcome BigJeff.
Much charting is presented in a confusing way, with lots of technical indicators and such. Yet all we really have to work with is Price, Time and Volume. So why all the squiggly lines and complicated indicators? (Only useful if you have firm rules that use them)
I find most TA patterns near useless as well, so for me it is just support, resistance and trend. With some notice of volume. More like old fashioned tape reading, but with graphics. Just a rough guide to likely action points and sort of barometer watching the changing weather. Not a predictive tool, without rigorous rules and back-testing.
My work is also always just an observation of what already happened, and what MIGHT happen with variations, because anything can happen in the future. Just one buyer or seller can move this market and big news throws everything out the window.
