THEY’RE BACK! WikiLeaks Comes Out After Days of Silence to Expose THIS

Wikileaks took an extended break and many were nervous about the well-being of founder Julian Assange. Whether or not Assange himself is okay, Wikileaks has just published new information.

Yemen is now plunged into the grips of a civil war, but the United States had a vested interest in the region in this run-up to this war which began in 2015.

Wikileaks just released 500 documents that show that for all of Hillary Clinton’s term and the first two years of John Kerry’s term as Secretary of State, the U.S. set the groundwork for a war by arming, supplying, and assisting militants through their embassy in Sana’a, as per Wikileaks.

“The war in Yemen has produced 3.15 million displaced persons,” Wikileaks said in a statement included with their release. “Although the United States government has provided most of the bombs and is deeply involved in the conduct of the war itself reportage on the war in English is conspicuously rare.”

Yemen is of strategic interest to the United States, primarily because it controls a narrow passageway to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal. Through this choke-point, a whopping 11 percent of the world’s petroleum moves.

Yemen also borders Saudi Arabia on their northern border and Oman on their southern border.

This strategic location plays a role in the movement of an additional 20 per cent of the world’s petroleum. This oil passes from the Strait of Hormuz across some of Saudi Arabia and Iran as well.

In a nutshell, Saudi Arabia is seeking to control a port in Yemen because they fear the potential constriction of their oil shipments from Iran along the Strait of Hormuz. They are essentially concerned about other countries controlling their oil shipments along the Red Sea.

The Yemen files provided by Wikileaks also provide a clue into the nature of the weapons Clinton and Kerry provided to the small-but-important country. They provided vessels, vehicles, and aircraft. They also provided security personnel for a litany of maritime issues.

The U.S presence in Yemen remained until February of 2015 at which point the United States decided to close their embassy. The war in Yemen broke out about a month after that.

For Wikileaks, there is still work to be done, even though Donald Trump has been elected as our next president. We can be thankful that in all endeavors they will seek to keep our politicians honest. They will tell us about corruption in our government whenever they can catch wind of it.
Although it is a sad state of affairs that Wikileaks is basically the only organization that is doing the job of journalists, at least they continue to do their vital work.

Thankfully, their job will be much easier than it could have been. Had Hillary Clinton been our next president, there would have been many more Clinton scandals for them to leak information about.
