ATA Names Hub Group Trucking a Top 3 Safest Carrie

OAK BROOK, Ill., Nov. 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hub Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: HUBG ) announced recently that Hub Group Trucking has been recognized by the American Trucking Association (ATA) as one of the three safest operating carriers within its division and category in the ATA’s National Truck Safety Contest.

The criteria for judging was based on accident rate per mile for the 2015 calendar year, which equals total Reportable Accidents (as defined by the Department of Transportation) divided by total miles. The categories were determined by type of carrier (LTL, Flatbed, Tank, etc.) and mileage.
