One overlooked opportunity is the charter business rather than going head to head with established carriers. The nature of the cargo business is serving a niche in terms of destination, pricing and service and CK could bring those attributes to a charter airline quite easily. Vacation destinations to Europe and to places down south and who knows what will happen in Cuba with Fidel gone, but that country aside, there is a great niche which can be filled by a charter business and the type of service CK could offer to benefit shareholders. A regularly scheduled service would be riskier than a charter business where you appeal to the low cost consumer. I think CK could well bring this off. IMO.
