Dec 17, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- MMRGlobal, Inc. has agreed to the terms of patent license agreements with three EMR and PHR vendors and has begun making licensed services available to more than 30,000 physician accounts belonging to one of the licensees.

The Company is also in the process of licensing its patented Personal Health Records technologies and other intellectual property with hospital networks, purchasing syndicates and trade associations representing thousands of hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers in Illinois , Arizona , New Jersey Louisiana and Pennsylvania .

MMR's health IT patent portfolio includes five patents issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office including US Patent Nos. 8,121,855; 8,117,646; 8,117,045; 8,301,466 and 8,321,240, as well as hundreds of additional pending claims involving provisioning of Personal Health Records and other claims and features included in Electronic Medical Records systems.
