Experts, Supporters Urge Hillary to Challenge Results in WI, PA and MI

Hillary Clinton's supporters are urging her to challenge the election results in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, with experts expressing concern about possible irregularities in those states.

The Guardian reported that a "growing number of academics and activists" are now trying to convince Clinton to ask for a full audit of the results in those states before upcoming deadlines.

A team of analysts led by National Voting Rights Institute founder John Bonifaz and Professor Alex Halderman, director of the University of Michigan’s center for computer security and society, pointed to disparities in Wisconsin areas where electronic voting machines were used.

John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman, and interim DNC chair Donna Brazile were said to be privately questioning the election results in light of Russia's prior hacking of Podesta and the DNC's emails.

The Clinton team, however, is seen as unlikely to pursue the effort, preferring along with the White House that a smooth transition of power take place.

But the sister of Huma Abedin - Clinton's closest aide - took to Facebook to ask people to call the Justice Department and demand there be another look at the votes.

"Call the DOJ…and tell them you want the votes audited. Even if it’s busy, keep calling," Heba Abedin wrote, arguing that shifting 55,000 votes in the three states is all Clinton needs to win
