New Study Claims Google Search Results Favor Left-

Google search results can lean liberal, seemingly favoring left-wing news websites over more conservative ones, a new study found.
The analysis by CanIRank.com said that recent searches of 50 political terms brought up more websites deemed to be liberal-leaning over more conservative outlets.
Google, however, denies allegations of bias within its search rankings, arguing that its results are determined by "algorithms" and reflect the information available on the internet.
"From the beginning, our approach to search has been to provide the most relevant answers and results to our users, and it would undermine people’s trust in our results, and our company, if we were to change course," the company told the Wall Street Journal.
In recent weeks, Facebook has faced criticism for allowing blatantly false stories - made to look like actual news articles - to circulate widely. Some even argued that these "fake news" stories affected the outcome of the presidential election.
Google faced accusations earlier this year that its AutoComplete feature was skewing results to be favorable to Hillary Clinton.
Google maintained that the AutoComplete function "does not favor any candidate or cause."
