Poem, the word 'paradox' should have tipped you off that an increase in ice coverage at one pole is not inconsistent with climate change and consequent global warming.
Also, the 'take home message' undercuts YOUR belief...but not the premise of the piece, which again is a ....paradox, but not a refutation of climate change theory.
