Looking for help in understanding in simple terms

Looking for help in understanding in simple terms what would make Nanotech an attractive partner for Verizon? Seems to me it must be the technology that Nanotech has to deliver 4K. The reason I say that is because my wife streamed a movie ( 9 Lives) that Verizon has for our grandchildren to watch that we were babysitting for. It was not in 4K but was a good movie imho. So can anyone explain in simple terms what it is that we have that would make us a desirable partner? Is it patented? As a techie failure your help is most appreciated.
