I had this discussion with a doctor I worked with in 2007. He thought we needed to get rid of guns. He said it would lower crime. He researched gun related crimes and gun related violent crimes trying to prove his point but got a suprise. Wasington DC was the leading or one of the leading ( cant remember) places in gun related violent crimes. Guns are banned in DC. Imagine that, crime goes up when people cant defend themselves.
