Those are not short sales. Nobody shorts a stock like this. VNDM or whoever sells the stock that they are selling is for a 3rd party, the stock is not in their account. It will show as a short trade because it is but the t trades are them taking the seller out at a small discount, hence the weird prices in the t trades. If you are going to talk about shorting, know the difference. Nobody is banging this stock as a true short, no upside because you are 6 ticks from zero. Losses would be limitless if there was a real short squeeze. I have seen real ones, this will not be one of them. If and when TPAC finally runs, it will be on its own merits.
