Back in 1976 the year of possible national race riots, buses
showed up in downtown Indianapolis full of black thugs from Chicago.
They were somehow known and turned away out of town.
That was a good thing too it was a rough night .
Squadrons of police beating their shields
walking down major streets for a show.
it worked out and we had no major trouble
and rarely have any trouble here.
The black churches here are connected and organized
and work throughout the city streets with police and the mayor.
A great working relationship.
