Speaking of Fidelity, last Thurs night I called them and said 'hey, for some reason, I'm getting an error message when I've placed some buy orders on BLTA over the past couple weeks. Is there a problem?' The rep said 'No, your account is fine. Let's do a test right now. It's after-hours, so just place the trade, it doesn't matter the amount, and then just make sure to cancel it when we're done.' Ok, no problem.
When I checked my account the next day I noticed I had a million extra shares and an alert that I didn't have enough funds. My 1 mil 'test' was in the first batch of trades to hit at 0.0011. Early dementia or a instinctive foresight? Either way, thanks Fidelity!
