I'm guessing DF knew this as well and made the appropriate preparations prior to his departure. NTEK is not in this game to lose.
People seem to forget that NTEK has hired a lot of very smart technical people to move the process forward while Mr Foley is on "sabbatical".
If you do your DD and see what the company has accomplished (like all of the platforms they are currently on as just one example) The strategy has payed off in spades from a technical standpoint.
With that in mostly in place I am guessing that the focus will methodically shift to the business related needs of the company, keeping the appropriate pace with the growth of the 4K business space (appropriate staffing for the next phase, content, audited financials, marketing, etc).
Move to fast, you peak before the business cycle peaks and you just burn out because the consumer base just isn't ready for wide spread acceptance of what you have to offer. You waste time and money on things you shouldn't be spending money on.
Go too slow and you get left behind.....
I'm guessing these are the challenges the company is dealing with.
In regards to news , NTEK has smartened up and started releasing news when they actually have something newsworthy to release. They are not going to release any information on deals until the deals are done and ready to execute.
Every time the release premature information they get screwed by the folks trying to sink them or harassed by shareholders lacking knowledge of the business space and what it takes in regards to time and money it takes to succeed in it.
I'm fine with NTEK being quiet until they actually have something to say. That's the strategy that will make my investment in the company pay off in the long run.....
As long as the company can show me forward progress in building long term share holder value...I'm satisfied. Payback on the investment will come in time.....
