As announced in IT Notices 34/16 and 50/16 (Genium INET) Nasdaq Stockholm will in connection with the Genium INET November upgrade activate circuit breaker mechanisms for listed equity derivatives and make updates to central order price limits.
Starting 28 November 2016, the circuit breaker mechanism will be activated gradually for sub-sets of products at different dates. Information on the new mechanism and configuration as well as the relevant activation dates are found in the attached notice on page 2.
From 21 November price limits will be active during auctions for futures on the OMXS30 index. Also on this date the price limits during continuous matching for derivatives traded in SEK will be updated. The relevant updates to price limits applicable as of 21 November are found in the attached notice on pages 3-5. It is important to note that going forward active orders falling outside the price limits at the start of an auction period will be cancelled automatically. Members are encouraged to ensure that clients are aware of this change.
