Part 1 arrival.
I decided a few weeks ago to go to the shareholders meeting this weekend and arrived at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas Saturday morning at 1am.
It's a magnificent hotel, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and it was a privilege to stay at, albeit a bit spendy, but worth it.
As I arrived at my hotel room I noticed something that caught my eye out my window.
It was the Omni Hotel next door and it's architecture includes a dogleg design with an all glass exterior that provides the canvas for a wonderful light arrangement throughout the entire side of the building.
It was eight top floor to ground level image of the American flag waving in the wind with the dogleg appearance on the hotel it was absolutely stunning.
After a short nights rest I toured the hotel to look around and get a feel for the area.
Being a new visitor to downtown Dallas I found the city to be quite clean, beautiful and the people very friendly.
Right outside my room was a restaurant called 560. It's called 560 because it is 560 feet tall with glass elevators extending up to a glass rotating tower that provides a panoramic view of the entire Dallas metropolitan area and is run by Wolfgang Puck.
The time came to leave for the shareholders meeting.
