Economists disagree on whether the tax plan would be good for the economy. The Tax Policy Center says that over the first decade, the government would lose $6.2 trillion in revenue, producing huge budget deficits that could hurt the economy.
This is 'fairy dust economics' in action. A sane administration would raise taxes on the top 2% and PAY for infrastructure and Defense spending increases.
You could still give a middle class tax cut and reform the corp. tax rates while paying for the two linchpins of Trump's spending plans, without producing the 'huge budget deficits'.
We saw this movie 14 years ago and we know how it ends. Suspend disbelief, ignore economic history, because he's 'your guy', and reap the whirlwind.
