Judge Jeanine Hits Back at CEO Who Told Pro-Trump Employees to Resign

The CEO of a food delivery service sent an email to his employees Wednesday to let them know that if they supported Donald Trump, they should resign.

Matt Maloney wrote that he rejects Trump's "nationalist, anti-immigrant and hateful politics" and that employees of GrubHub who don't agree on that stance "have no place" in his company.

Though he has now backtracked, Maloney's comments have been held up as an example of intolerance by liberals toward views they don't agree with.

In a second email Thursday, Maloney clarified that the company accepts all of its employees regardless of political beliefs.

Judge Jeanine Pirro reacted on Fox & Friends this morning, explaining that Maloney's original email puts him at risk for a "major lawsuit."

She said Maloney's stance goes even further than not allowing employees to engage in political speech in the private workplace.

"This is very different. This is the employer saying, 'if you don't agree me with, if you don't hate the president ... then resign. That tells me that he's going to discriminate," said Pirro.

As for the claim that Trump is a "nationalist," Pirro pushed back on that criticism.

"We're either a nation or not. We are not a globalist place where people just come and drop off and collect money and food stamps," she said.

Watch her full comments above and don't miss Justice, Saturday and Sunday nights at 9:00 ET on Fox News Channel! On Saturday's show, see Judge Pirro's first Opening Statement since Election Day and hear from Scott Baio and Stephen Baldwin.
