DALLAS, Nov. 10, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rocky Mountain High Brands, Inc. (OTCQB:RMHB), a fully reporting consumer goods company specializing in brand development of health conscious, hemp-infused food and beverage products and high alkaline water announced today that it has executed a Letter of Intent to collaborate with Fred Dryer of NFL and television fame. Dryer will lend his time, business skills, name and likeness in promotion and sale of the Company’s product.

Michael Welch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rocky Mountain High Brands, stated, “Fred’s aptitude for business as well as his substantial marketability and advertising value make him a great asset to our fast-growing company. We are thrilled and honored having him join our team and represent our Rocky Mountain High and Eagle Spirit Spring Water brands as we expand our distribution in the U.S. and move forward with distribution into China.”

Dryer, not only known for his formidable reputation on the football field but also for a 30 plus year career in television and movies, commented, “The agreement with Rocky Mountain High Brands is an honor for me as well. Their products are in direct relation to the integrity of the people behind the label. I see a symbiotic relationship between Rocky Mountain High and the incredible products they put forth.”

An avid health enthusiast and somewhat of a pioneer in nutritional healing, Dryer continued, “I have tried to live by principles that would bring me to optimal health - honest, clean and straightforward living. So, these products are significant to me because I feel they are in alignment with the things I believe in.”

About Fred Dryer:

Fred Dryer, a southern California native, first made a nationwide name for himself in 1969 when after an impressive college football career at San Diego State, one that would later garner him a place in The College Football Hall of Fame, was named the NFL’s 13th overall draft pick, selected in the first round by the New York Giants. After three seasons playing for New York, Dryer was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 1972, where he obtained All-Pro honors and made his mark on the sport by the manner and aggressiveness with which he played right defensive end. During his career, he accumulated a recorded 104 career sacks and the distinction of being the only player ever to have two safeties in one game.

It was in his football career that Dryer first began to pursue alternative health and “clean eating”, a key factor to which he attributes much of his success on the field. 13 years and 176 games later, Dryer retired from football in the summer of 1981. After his departure from professional football, Dryer provided color commentary for NFL games and began an acting career. In the early 1980s, Dryer landed the lead role as Det. Sgt. Rick Hunter in NBC’s action series Hunter. The show, syndicated in over 100 countries around the world, would go on to be a huge success and earn critical acclaim as well as pave the way for the star to begin his eponymous production company. “Fred Dryer Productions” would break ground in show business with its hit action hour, Land’s End, the first of its kind to be a first-run syndicated show. Fred continues to produce and act with recent rolls in Agent X and Crisis.
