Probably there'll be some trades eventually. I've seen a few stocks that never traded at all when they reopened after suspension, but not many.
The ones that do very high volume for a few days after the suspension expires are for the most part heavily promoted issues without any shareholders who consider themselves to be long term investors. Most of them see the writing on the wall and exit as quickly as possible.
