I'm not meaning to inject my political opinions on this board.....
Canada is far from perfect, some have dubbed our new leader as Prime Minister Selfie for all the pictures he takes with adoring fans....I even have one of him with my wife and son. But there are critics who consider him a policy and intellectual lightweight, who nonetheless possesses a high degree off "emotional intelligence".
What I can't get over is how...with 3 or 4 hundred million people, how the best you could come up with was Trump and Clinton, what a brutal choice. I grew up in the US and I guess I'm hoping for Clinton, call it voting with my wallet.
What I would have loved to see is an election between Ron Paul on the right and Bernie Sanders on the left. Either way I think Americans would be getting someone who genuinely cares about average working class Americans...with 2 differing points of view on how to go about improving things.
