Lots of talk yesterday and today on other boards regarding MMTE, their concessions, and who is to blame for the current situation. Ultimately, William Lieberman is to blame, because he is the CEO of MMTE. However, one should seriously think about what took place here. Shareholders were almost never updated by Lieberman, and the news that did come out was hard to understand --- I suggest this ambiguity was deliberate. So, an investor must ask themselves why they hung on to a stock that seemed questonable all along, and why did people continue to add while nothing of substance was released by MMTE. Lieberman cannot be blamed for this activity, because he was not the one communicating publicly with investors.
We all know large blocks of MMTE shares were regularly dumped beginning around the middle of the year, and this dumping dropped share prices to current levels. William told me he needed to pull his money out of MMTE because of another opportunity he was working on in Florida at around this same time. When I asked William about the constant dumping and drop in share price, William told me convertible debt holders were dumping, and he was not happy about the situation. I asked William why convertible debt holders would be dumping? William replied that these debt holders can sell as many shares as they like until they recoup their investment and the interest they were promised --- in effect, they cannot lose.
I also asked about all the stories about private meetings with large shareholders. I asked specifically about the merger stories some were telling regarding MMTE and TTXP. William was very clear about this, and stated forcefully that these stories were "nonsense" and said he would never discuss with any investor plans for the company that were not made public. William reminded me that I of all people should know this because of my long history with him and with MMTE. I further asked about all the maps being displayed by some posters, and the talk of gold, silver, copper, iron, and many, many other minerals that MMTE would soon be mining. William once again repeated that these stories were "nonsense" and said he felt these stories were being spread by debt holders who were trying to dump their shares at the highest possible price. William told me if I had any questions about anything I should call or e-mail him personally.
The remainder of my conversations and correspondence were more personal in nature, and dealt primarily with the illness of my wife. I did not post much about my personal correspondence, but I did post that William denied the truthfulness of what was being posted on message boards. William also made it very clear that he did not authorize anyone to speak on his behalf about MMTE, and never would. William reminded me that I was one of the few he ever asked to speak on his behalf, and he had not done that for a very long time.
When I cautioned posters about what was being posted, my posts were removed. For all those who lost money on MMTE, I strongly suggest you should ask why. How much money could you have saved? How much more money did you lose?
