It won't work. There are too many longs with very deep pockets who secured many of the cheap shares in the .0002>.0010 range - not only on the way up but on the way down too over the last 2 years.
Also, the mickey mouse paint downs are sometimes partial fills from buy orders on the ask - happened to me several times when I've been buying.
I also believe that someone who has been silent for 2 years - who was instrumental bringing whales to the 2014 run - will do the same again - she is currently posting to that effect elsewhere today about volume coming in next week.
Yet more scanners will have been going off all day for bottom up players like myself who have them set to alert all upticks regardless of volume and who then interpret the trading back story through research or who already have their own records regarding trades at each price point.
