THIN - Mandatory Notice of Trades

Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") issues this notice on behalf of certain primary insiders in Thinfilm who today received subscription rights ("SRs") under Thinfilm's 2016 Subscription Rights Incentive Plan.

Davor Sutija, CEO, received 2,000,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Sutija and close associates hold or control 2,700,000 shares and 6,500,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Ole Ronny Thorsnes, CFO, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Thorsnes and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 1,350,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Christer Karlsson, CTO, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Karlsson and close associates hold or control 300,000 shares and 2,600,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Peter Fischer, COO, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Fischer and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 2,050,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Tauseef Bashir, EVP Global Sales, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Bashir and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 1,100,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Erwan Le Roy, EVP Business Development, received 750,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Le Roy and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 1,450,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Henrik Sjöberg, SVP Product Management, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Sjöberg and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 2,250,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Bill Cummings, SVP Corporate Communications, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Cummings and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 1,250,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Christian Delay, SVP Software Platforms, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Delay and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 1,100,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

Anders Harnes, VP Finance and Accounting, received 200,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Harnes and close associates hold or control 0 shares and 650,000 SRs in Thinfilm.

The exercise price of the SRs is NOK 4.34 per share. Twenty-five percent of the SRs vest at each anniversary from the date of the grant. The SRs expire on 10 May 2021.
