The consultant request application is designed to help enable customers to manage the scope, timeline, budget and resources of a project, and to help deliver a quicker and more direct way to engage Infor consulting talent in real time.
The consultant request app has completed beta testing with Infor M3 customers across North America and Europe, and is expected to be rolled out to all Infor customers beginning in November 2016.
Infor Services, a global team of more than 5300 skilled resources, have developed the self- service consultant request application to help customers more quickly and easily manage engagements with Infor Services consultants. It can help to deliver project-centric resources, such as a System Architect to configure and support a financial system implementation or a business process expert to review current business procedures to prepare for a Human Capital Management (HCM) upgrade. By working to streamline the talent procurement process for projects such as these, the work can be completed in a more seamless manner, which can help speed the time to value of the project. The application is also designed to help simplify talent requests associated with more sophisticated endeavors like cloud migration by enlisting an Infor Service project manager.

To initiate a new request, users access the Infor Services Marketplace located on the Infor Services website at www.infor.com/services and provide a description of the services required. A new project request will include a description of the services needed, the desired start date, location, and the name of the preferred Infor Services consultant to be assigned, along with any other pertinent information. Once the request has been submitted, the Infor Services team will review and assign the project to an appropriate consultant, who will then follow up on the request.
