On "Fox & Friends" this morning, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn (Ret.) reacted to the "unbelievable tragedy" of two Iowa police officers being gunned down in their squad cars.
"The assault on our law enforcement professionals in this country is out of control," Flynn said.
He said that the leadership in our country needs to come out and say, "This has got to end."
Flynn, a Donald Trump supporter, said that the law enforcement community is reaching out to the Republican presidential nominee because he's willing to speak up on their behalf.
"This is just another tragedy, another example of the lack of safety that we have in our streets and in our country for these police officers."
