I should have clarified my statement. From a technical charting perspective, one wants to see price increases accompanied by increased volume as well. However, todays nice price increase saw somewhat reduced volume from yesterday. Price decreases likewise would be on reduced trading volume if the movement is positive overall. Hopefully a press release will see both a nice price increase as well as a surge in shares traded.
