Even though it appears to be a new direction, IR had previously stated that this new system will be taking place eventually, along with more CCs, Video Conference, distribution to wider audience, etc...I believe all of this had been mentioned in the last CC, or even the last 2 CCs...so I'm glad to see/hear/read that this is all going to plan, which validates IRs work (earlier than scheduled apparently, not complaining about that)
A couple of boardmembers had put together a nice summary of those CCs immediately after, you'll just have to dig for it, or you can listen to it from TPAC website, not sure if it is still up.
