TORONTO, Oct. 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Colliers International Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CIGI ) (TSX: CIG ) (“Colliers”) announced today that the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”) has approved a change of its trading symbol. Effective at the opening of trading on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, the subordinate voting shares of Colliers will commence trading on TSX under the symbol “CIGI”. The previous TSX trading symbol was “CIG”. Following this change, the TSX and NASDAQ trading symbols for Colliers’ shares will be the same.
Beginning November 1, 2016, all TSX information relating to Colliers, including stock trading and market data, will be reported under the new trading symbol, “CIGI”. Outstanding share certificates are not affected by the symbol change and will not need to be exchanged.
