dennyd: Shares of NTGL are being purchased through other brokerage firms like Etrade. I think FIdelity has shut you off because they realize the losses they face should you sell those shares for a high price per share. I suspect risk management has made an entry into their computer system and were I a betting man I would bet that if you requested the shares presently in your account they would find reasons as to why they couldn't isssue them to you.
A friend is getting an IRA distribution in certificate form (same firm) of another stock that also has a large short and they are telling him there will be a $500. fee. The good news is you have a goodly number of shares and I suspect will not sell until you hear them screaming Uncle over and over again. Go NTGL and NTEK!!!
