Gloria Allred: Donald Trump is a 'Fifth-Rate Human Being'
High-profile Los Angeles civil rights attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing three women accusing Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, slammed the Republican presidential nominee in a statement released today.
Allred, 75, was apparently responding to Trump's remarks on a New Hampshire radio program, in which he called into question the motives behind Allred's representation of the women.
"Gloria Allred is a big deal with Clinton," Trump said, according to The Hill newspaper, "she works for the Clinton campaign."
Trump has said that Allred is actively looking for women who will make allegations against him, and has called her a "phony lawyer".
"You will not intimidate me," Allred said in the statement, "You are nothing but a fourth-rate politician and a fifth-rate human being who is losing this election and lashing out at women who accuse you."
"Others who are smarter, richer and more famous than you have tried and failed [to intimidate me]," Allred said.
Allred has a history of representing high-profile clients, including Nicole Brown Simpson during the O.J. Simpson trial.
Other notable clients of Allred's have included a woman who accused 2012 presidential candidate Herman Cain of harassment, Tiger Woods' alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel, and a woman who received untoward text messages from former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.).
