Nice try. If Trump campaign was being hacked and emails 'released' three things would be true:
1. Trump would be blasting the Russians. "This is so rigged. The Russians want my opponent to win. No, it's true. All the intelligence agencies say the Russians are behind the hacking and crooked Assange is releasing Kellyanne Conway's emails, Giuliani's emails and Manafort's emails. It's outrageous people, the fix is in.
I will spend so much more on cyber-war it will be unbuhlievable. I may have to raise taxes on the 1% just to cover it. Just kidding folks!"
2. Cries to extradite Asssange and charge him with cyber-espionage. That of course would be shortened to 'lock him up' by Trump supporters.
3. You would be at the lost in found claiming the shit you lost.
The following would be sufficient to trigger all 3:
