You completely overlook Putin's role. His invasion of Georgia during the Bush Administration pretty much showed his hand.
Obama tried a reset. Worth a try. No go.
Trumps apologist stance toward Putin should scare you more than Clinton who I think has one important quality Trump does not have, the ability to learn, including from her mistakes.
