" I'm not trying to pick a fight with Muse I just want substance. I can't see how .01 is even achievable at this points. Especially when they have mentioned buybacks occurring in January and as of this recent tweet it could start as early as 2nd Quarter. So which is it."
why should investors have to apologize (no less on a public message board) for questioning something so fundamental as basic follow up and due diligence? several of us on here and on Twitter have asked how the company can affect the PPS enough at this point (with respect to time remaining in the year) to hit a $0.01 target. if you don't have blind faith and beat the drum - you are deemed a heretic and banished from email and Twitter feeds. that is bad enough but the snide comments they make on Twitter and on here certainly doesnt help.
others have countered that we should "know" when BTL SLA and buybacks are beginning per the feed. however, he mentions both as starting in 2017. again - how can that affect the share price in 2016 let alone this late in the year when the price continues to slide? the only path i see to hit their target (which they have reiterated several times in the last several weeks) is to start aggressively buying back now and have one or two PRs (with 8Ks) that concrete some of the allusions that have come across Twitter and put real teeth into the numbers. without that - i simply do not see how it gets anywhere near that target.
for me - the issue isnt them failing to achieve the target. instead, it is the constant erosion of credibility along with the growing concern that their vested interests arent lined up very well with outside shareholders. it certainly wouldnt be the first time an OTC company/CEO was fleeced by a "consultant", banker, hedge fund, etc. Bill's experience in the public markets should mitigate that to a large degree but if he went down an unsuspecting rabbit hole, it still could take a while to find his way back out.
i also agree that the board is for debate and putting out the pros and cons. further, no one that is resolute on IRs eventual success has been able to answer the question so far: how does the PPS get to $0.01 by year end?
