Without a direct statement or documented proof (assignment) nothing indicates the N assay is owned by the company. Now that being said, the company may have an exclusive right to it as with the flat pack. That is an important distinction. A simple example. I own a car but give you the exclusive right to use it as you see fit. The ownership is mine, it's use is yours.
