Muse plays the fiddle-watching share price burn...

No - it isnt exactly like that but the cavalier attitude towards share price and that it can all be solved through MRVB and/or day trading in alignment with MRVB is rather hollow for long term investors who arent glued to a trading screen all day.
while i like the "confidence" in putting out an aggressive PPS target, it generally isnt a good idea and less one can directly influence the market to increase the chances of that happening. not only have they put it out there, they have reiterated it several times. yet - they still have not provided specifics on how they are going to make that happen by EOY. $0.01 remains a very, very lofty target both in terms in % gain but also in terms of fundamentals when the company only has booked revenues of $109K and that still remains in AR.
so - how (or becoming more important now due to time aspect - when) are they going to buy enough shares in the shortening amount of time to make this happen? when will buying commence and how much cash do they expect to put to a buyback before EOY? if they disrupt the supply/demand balance in conjunction with a substantial PR (and 8K) showing some guaranteed revenues (or as much as a guarantee as one can expect in this realm) - then long term investors and new ones sitting on the fence could help accelerate the demand and approach a penny. even then - they are going to be facing a mountain of resistance from those just looking for a time to get out, aggressive momentum players, and MMs trying it back down with aggressive naked shorting on every sign of weakness. that does not bode well with closing in on two months of trading (let alone several of those weeks being very light due to the holidays).
again - it can get there. but directly would be investors to a timeline and a loose calculation does not instill confidence or provide solid proof that they intend to due their part to reach that target. i provided some raw numbers previously on what it would take, cash per day with PPS staying relatively constant) and did not factor in the holidays at the end of the year.
they can continue to pat themselves on the back for MRVB "wins" but until those translate to "real" gains that investors can independently confirm and they commence aggressive buyback, they continue to lose credibility with long term investors which they will need more than anyone (as foundation) to get the PPS to that target.
simply does not make sense to me why you not only alienate, but actively discourage the one group that provides the strongest springboard to reach a lofty target that is publicly stated and confidently reiterated.
