It's too late. He has already provided a distraction by inviting woman who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault to the debate. He is also having a press conference with them. Obvious misdirection and just another clownish move by a shallow man. Instead of apologizing which you rightly suggested, he is ramping up the shock by bringing these women where zero charges have ever came about. Smart people see through the ploy. It won't rattle her.
