Wow, just f*cking wow. You're so far out in right field you can't even see home plate.

If you don't recognize poem, and several others, as being to the right of Attila, you're simply not paying attention.

Here's how you can tell. The ones I respond to directly, or indirectly by their choice, are mostly knuckle scraping troglodytes, xenophobes, and nativists. Not particularly well informed and too easily misinformed. Lotta conspiracy theorists too.

As for capitalism? It, the stock market, 'made' my retirement. I endorse a well 'policed' capitalism for the same simple reason that our Founding Fathers recognized, as it pertained to governance
:

Quote:
"If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary.

In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this:

you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself."--Alexander Hamilton on human nature and government.

From the series Great Ideas of Western Man.

An SEC with regulatory 'teeth' and banks no longer too big to fail, for example. Because the MF's are clearly NOT 'angels'!
