Canada Hot Stocks: Air Canada, Canopy Growth, Aurinia Pharmaceuticals

Among the companies whose shares are making notable moves in Thursday's session are Air Canada (AC.T), Canopy Growth Corp. (CGC.T) and Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. (AUP.T).
RBC upgraded Air Canada (C$12.17, up 2.4%) to top pick from outperform and raised its target price to C$18 from C$14, citing a positive outlook for the airline. RBC said Air Canada's cost-transformation efforts have resulted in improved financials, "significant" operational flexibility and an expected improvement in free cash flow through to 2020.
Cannabis company Canopy Growth (C$5.47, up 9.8%) said its Tweed unit will offer three marijuana strains under rapper Snoop Dogg's Leafs brand. Tweed and the rapper announced a partnership deal in February and the three products will be the first offered in Canada under the rapper's brand.
Aurinia Pharmaceuticals (C$7.10, up 33%) announced positive results from a study of its Voclosporin investigational drug in the treatment of Lupus.
