FRANCISCO, Oct. 05, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hybrid Coating Technologies Inc. (HCTI) is pleased to announce that it is in final discussions with a Fortune 500 partner for a joint development agreement for the development of a foam product based on Hybrid’s non isocyanate polyurethane technology with an addressable market of approximately $10 billion.
Based on the final discussions, the Fortune 500 partner would pay for half of the development costs and then would share ownership in the newly developed intellectual property and would have exclusivity for the respective sector.
“We are very pleased to be finalizing an agreement with yet another Fortune 500 partner,” said Joseph Kristul, President and CEO. “The ability of Hybrid to attract world class companies as partners clearly demonstrates the existing and growing global demand for a safer polyurethane without isocyanates.”
Hybrid expects to enter into an LOI with this new Fortune 500 partner in approximately 30 days. Due to confidentiality, the name of the partner cannot be disclosed at this time.
Hybrid is in discussions with other potential partners and clients as well in different sectors of the polyurethane industry.
