Go with clean coal... solar and wind have there place.
However it is a balance of producing enough power at a low cost plus the development of product that use less power not to exclude storage of the generated power.
We have gotten better at the latter 2.
Solar and Wind are regional issues works in some places doesn't in others...
There is Cold Fusion also that is getting some new legs...
