2 Drake 25's.
I spoke to the manufacturer and the guys building and selling them. Very nice people and willing to spend some time helping me understand the workings of pump jacks. I want to thank them. Looks like Drake 25's can handle 130 to 140 barrels a day each to a depth of 3500 feet using 1 1/2 inch. 4000 feet was mentioned and it becomes iffy at that depth for the 25's. If you look closely you'll see the Honda engine on back. The engines are a great in our case since we wont have to bring electricity in. Now there is a system using natural gas but it's somewhat expensive. Maybe viable when we drill more holes moving forward. That's providing all goes well(no pun, OK, pun) and the GOB gives the blessing. I am sure all parties involved want success at this point. I know all TECO shareholders do, as well as mgmt. that has worked hard to get this far. Some thoughts. I don't think the Drake 25's would be down there if we were going to pump from the 1200 to 1300 foot zone. To me it seems we are going to pump from a (zone of interest,LOL) at a much greater depth, 2500 to 3500 feet. What I am thinking is, we are looking at 50 to 100BPD per well. That's just my best extrapolation given everything I've seen, look at, and heard. Until the oil flows, that number is still up in the air. I suppose the next question that needs to be addressed at this point is, how many producing wells could we get out of this area. The numbers I have heard is from 80 to 200. I don't have the expertise to even comment on that. I'm just stating numbers that have been tossed about. Now the question that needs to be answered the most. What is the BPD, on the number of well's, we need for Belize to become profitable venture. Divisions of monies are not brought in to the equation at this point as we are to recover all cost associated with the work and equipment. One thing is certain, in order for us to make a real go of it in Belize, we will have to have a much condensed time frame from drilling to production. Much better than we had on these first 2 wells.
