Howdy, BB in Cowtown: With regard to your remark about the peeps doin' some chasin' for a few days while we're down here in the greys; I think I now see & understand the necessity for to have a MARKET MAKER. The concept was first presented to my mind back last summer when I was going round & round a little bit with a couple of our beloved longs in talking about ''THE FLOAT LOCK UP PLAY'', in the which several posts they tried to get me to see & understand why it would NOT be a good thing if the longs had TOO MUCH OF A CONTROLLING POSITION, for such an eventuality would actually stifle the  frree trading & upward movement of the pps. I didn't particularly want to yield to their better understanding, AT THAT TIME, but after our almost 2 months now of trading in this grey arena, I finally really do ''see'' the necessity of not only a GOOD & FAIR & HONEST MM, but also of not having the 'float' too tightly held to our breast! ONE THING FOR SURE: WITHOUT A MARKET MAKER, THIS STOCK (PROBABLY) AIN'T GONNA GO ANYWHERE, BECAUSE THERE ARE NO PEEPS WHO WANT TO SELL, at least right now, and only if they absolutely have to or are forced to for some personal reason. But otherwise, the wait would be longer than most players would be willing to wait. So, what does a MM do? He makes a market. And if he senses a strong buying sentiment, even though the longs are unwilling to sell any of their shares, then he will step up to the plate, AS HE MUST, and literally ''make a market (in this case, for the buyers) by providing shares out of his own inventory for all of those peeps who are wanting to buy in, until such a time as the actual common longs in the company FINALLY get to a temptation level (to sell out of ''their'' own inventory) that is beyond their ability to resist, thus (finally) relieving the actual MARKET MAKER to have to keep on providing out of his own inventory. SO, the way I see it, if I am not too far off of the mark, hence is at least one of the reasons why 'WE REALLY NEED A MM JASAP! IMO. And please remember, BBin cow town: I'n not trying to find fault with you nor demean any of what you said. For your good post only caused me to want to share a lot of stuff that I have been ardently trying hard to understand ''HOW IT ALL WORKS'', etc: For as I have contended for a long time, ''if we all could only TRULY & ACCURATELY KNOW HOW THE MARKET MAKERS REALLY DO THEIR CRAFT'', THEN WOULD WE HAVE A truly good fighting chance to try & beat them at their own

Now, as a final word, would be to say that I would truly enjoy any good, educated opinion about any of the above founded in several+ years of actual trading experience down here in the pinks & pennies, so as to learn all we can from each other!
