I watched one go from 0.03 to $31 in 2 to 3 weeks.  Watching it and not jumping in was the worst mistake in my trading history.  It had a Q on the end and was at 0.50 when my hand was on the trigger.  I looked at that long candle from .03 to .50 and was scared it would fall back.  I watched it daily in fascination while being too scared to jump in thinking it had to fall at any moment.  So, yes, it can easily jump wildly on the right news.  That stock I was watching went up on news of the FDA approving a test for cervical cancer.

I will ride all bumps up and down.  No way will I be out when good news hits.

Biotechs can easily triple overnight on good news. DNDN gapped up from a close at 7 to 21 the next morning when they had good news.
