Tatt2Away Revolutionizes Tattoo Removal in Canada

MONTREAL, Sept. 26, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Until recently, tattoo removal had not seen a significant advancement in treatment, technique or outcomes in years. Marie Lariault, owner of Les chasseurs d'encre ( www.inkhuntersstudio.com ) is the first in Canada to offer Tatt2Away ( www.tatt2away.com ), a revolutionary non-laser tattoo removal treatment that actually does what it says – completely removes a tattoo from the skin without the discomfort, cost, and risk associated with other methods.

“Quebec is a huge tattoo community, and there are more people tattooed than not. In talking about tattoos, I was always coming across people who wanted to remove some ink, but were having a hard time finding a method that would be reliable,” says Lariault. “The more I researched, the more I came to see that Tatt2Away is an amazing concept.”

Tatt2Away® uses an innovative patented technique TEPR® (Trans Epidermal Pigment Release) with TERPSOL®, a solution naturally occurring in carbohydrates, which binds and breaks down the ink pigments bringing them up and out of the body.

“Lasers break up the ink particles of the color they can affect. Everyone must be concerned that whichever color the laser hits is  transferred to other parts of your body like the lymph nodes and liver,” Lariault warns.

“Also, with other methods, you're constantly going over the same spot on the tattoo, which can cause scaring,” Lariault adds. “With Tatt2Away, a stencil is used to break the form without going over the same area.”

Lariault is joined at Les chasseurs d'encre, in Quebec, by two additional tattoo removal technicians; they've all been specially trained in using the Tatt2Away system. One of Lariault's reasons for aligning with Tatt2Away is the company's experienced team that includes a professional medical director with more than 30 years in the health care field.

“Being the first Tatt2Away Center (in Canada) is very important. We can now offer the tattoo community a proven, tattoo removal  process that is destined to become the standard of care,” Lariault says. “The natural process of Tatt2Away goes hand in hand with the body's own healing process to promote optimal results of a partial removal towards a cover up or a complete removal of the ink and pigment.”
