UPDATE: Gennifer Flowers tweeted that she plans to attend Monday's presidential debate, as Donald Trump suggested.
Flowers' assistant, Judy Stell, told BuzzFeed News via email that: “Ms. Flowers has agreed to join Donald at the debate."
Donald Trump responded Saturday to news that outspoken Hillary Clinton supporter Mark Cuban had been invited to sit in the front row at Monday’s presidential debate in Nassau County, N.Y.
Cuban, a Pittsburgh-born billionaire known for his role on ‘Shark Tank’, has repeatedly criticized the Republican nominee—most recently predicting that the stock market will crash if Trump is elected.
Trump tweeted a suggestion that he may ask a woman who once accused Bill Clinton of having an extramarital sexual relationship with her, to sit in the front row in response to Cuban's invitation.
“If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Gennifer Flowers right alongside of him!” he wrote.
In 1998, Flowers said she had a “sexual relationship that lasted 12 years” with Clinton, which began while he was living in Arkansas.
Clinton originally denied the relationship with Flowers, but later reportedly admitted the liaisons in a 1998 deposition.
Trump deleted his initial tweet, which misspelled Flowers' name as 'Jennifer'.
Flowers tweeted later Saturday afternoon that she was "in [his] corner" and will attend the debate at Hofstra University.
