I was introduced to and shook hands with Paul Newman
and Joann Woodward in 1968 at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis
while they campaigned for Eugene McCarthy..
Including McCarthy's son.
They were brought around to the clinic
on a Sunday as a courtesy to the company.
