Another stock I own showed zero short yesterday and it always has been on the FINRA short list. Today I checked on a spinoff of that company NTGL which doesn't trade all that much. Today a few of the longs indicated they had purchased shares and how many and I looked at the actual trades and every single buy had been marked as a sell. Mismarking trades buys as sells would eliminate them from being reported to FINRA. Here are some past examples:
